From your products to a checked TikTok Shop or eBay listing.

Install ZoraLister

1. Get the installer: sign in to ZoraLister Online and click Download on the ZoraLister for Windows card on your Account page (it is there once we have invited you), or use the ZoraLister-Setup file we sent you. Run it. It installs for your own Windows account, so there is no administrator prompt.
2. Start ZoraLister from the Start menu. It opens in its own window on the Catalog screen. Guide ↗, at the bottom of its menu, opens this page.

If we sent you a license key (it starts ZL1.), paste all of it on Settings, under License, and click Save license. It is checked on your PC and nothing is sent anywhere. During the beta ZoraLister works without one.

You need Windows 10 or 11. Installing a newer version later upgrades in place and keeps everything you made. A license includes every version released up to its updates until date. If you install a version released after that date, it tells you so and changes nothing. Write to us and we will send you the installer for the version your license includes, which opens everything as you left it.

Add a product

1. On Catalog, click + Add product.
2. Fill in Title (the only required field), then Description, Brand, Price and Quantity. Leave SKU blank and ZoraLister suggests one.
3. Enter Weight (g) and Length, Width, Height (mm) as the packed product: what goes in the mail.
4. Click Save.

Product type / category hint, Tags, Cost, Barcode / GTIN and Notes are for you; fill them if you use them. Archive hides a product without deleting it.

Maker, Condition and Year describe the item itself: who made it (not always whose name is on it: a McDonald's toy is branded McDonald's and made by somebody else), what state it is in, and when it was made, written the way you know it ("c. 1998" is fine). A listing profile can put them into any marketplace column, like any other field. Condition is one of your words (New, Used), not a marketplace's code, so eBay's Condition ID is still set in the profile (see below).

Many similar products: Duplicate

When the next product is nearly the same as one you have (the next toy in a series, the same design in a new size), open the one you have and click Duplicate. You get a new product with the same details, variants, prices and quantities, and the title is selected, ready to change. Change what is different and click Save.

The copy gets new SKUs and an empty Barcode: both belong to one item, never to two. Its photos come along only if you check Copy the photos too; leave it off when every item has its own photos. Copied photos are the copy's own, so removing one from the copy leaves the original alone. If you have unsaved changes, ZoraLister asks you to save first, so the copy has them.

A word in many titles at once: Find and replace

On Catalog, click Find and replace. Type what to Find and what to Replace with - a misspelled brand, or "NIP" to "New in package" - and choose In titles, In descriptions, Match case and Whole words only. Preview shows every active product it would change, and what its title becomes; nothing changes until you click Replace, and then only the products the preview showed.

The same thing twice: Look-alikes

Look-alikes lists pairs of your products whose titles are alike word for word, with the same sizes and numbers and no other brand. ZoraLister changes nothing there: if they are the same product, open the one you do not want and Archive it; if they are two products, click Keep both and that pair is not asked about again.

Counting stock: Scan stock

Scan stock counts with a barcode scanner (it types into the box like a keyboard), or type a barcode or SKU and press Enter or Count it. Choose Add to stock or Take out (sold elsewhere); each scan counts one. Use the camera appears where the window can use your camera. Undo the last scan takes one back, and nothing changes until you click Save.

Colors and sizes: variants

Each color, size or style you sell is a variant of the product, with its own SKU, price and quantity. Every product starts with one variant.

1. Open the product and scroll to Variants.
2. On the first row, fill Option 1 with a name and a value, for example Color and Black. If you also sell sizes, use Option 2: Size and Small.
3. For each other combination, click Copy on the row you already filled in. You get a new row with the same option names, values, price and quantity, and your cursor lands on the first value: change Black to White and click Add. Use + Add variant instead when the new row has nothing in common with the others.
4. Leave the SKU blank and ZoraLister builds one from the title and the options, so White and Small becomes something like MOUNTAIN-SUNRISE-VINYL-DECAL-WHITE-SMALL. Type your own if you already have a code you use.

A copied row deliberately leaves the Barcode empty: a barcode belongs to one variant, never to two. Removing a variant retires it and frees its SKU; nothing is destroyed.

Every combination at once: Make variants from options

The Options: line above the variants names the options this product's variants differ by. To add one, type its name (for example Color) and click Add option, then fill in its value on each variant. Or click Make variants from options: select the values you sell, set a Price and Quantity, and Make variants makes every combination as a variant with its own suggested SKU - ones you already have are left as they are, and it counts them before you press. Click an option's name on the Options line to rename it (Rename), or type another option's name to move its values into that one (Move into).

A marketplace that spells a SKU differently: Listed on a marketplace as...

A variant keeps one SKU. Only where a live listing already knows it by another spelling (-LIGHT-BLUE on eBay for your -LIGHTBLUE), open Listed on a marketplace as... under the variants and type what that marketplace calls it, next to TikTok Shop, eBay, Etsy or Amazon. That marketplace's drafts, and its upload file, then use it. Leave it empty and the marketplace gets the SKU.

Add photos

1. In the product, scroll to Images and drag your photos in, or use choose files.
2. The first photo becomes the main image; the rest are gallery. Change a photo's role with the dropdown under it: main, gallery, swatch or size chart.

Your original files are never modified: ZoraLister keeps them untouched and makes resized copies beside them. Removing a photo moves the original to a trash folder inside your data folder instead of deleting it.

Order, turning and cropping

Drag a photo to change the order listings show them in; the main photo always goes first. Under each photo, Rotate left and Rotate right turn it a quarter, and Crop opens a box you drag and size (Free, Square or 4:3), then Use this crop. Each makes a copy that your listings use - the photo you added is kept exactly as it was, and Back to the original brings it back.

Under each photo, ZoraLister also says when it is outside what a marketplace you sell on takes: "Too small for eBay", "Etsy recommends 2000 px", "wants square photos - Crop, then Square", or too large a file. It reads which marketplaces you sell on from the templates you dropped in.

A video, and personalization

Under Video, Add a video keeps one video with the product: MP4 or MOV, up to 95 MB. Remove video takes it off. Sending it to eBay comes in the next version (0.2.1); Amazon, Shopify and TikTok Shop take a video in their own Seller Center. It is kept as the file you add, so if your phone records where a video was taken, that is in it.

Under Personalization, check Buyers can personalize it - a name, initials, a date, say What the buyer should write, the Letters at most, any Extra charge ($), and whether The buyer must fill it in, then click Save personalization. Export CSV carries it, and Import CSV / Excel brings it back.

Or import your spreadsheet

If your products already live in a spreadsheet, bring them in instead of typing them.

1. On Catalog, click Import CSV / Excel and choose your file. CSV and Excel (.xlsx) both work, including exports from Shopify, Etsy, eBay, Excel and Google Sheets. For a workbook, the first sheet is read.
2. Match your columns to ZoraLister's: for each CSV column you see a Sample of what is in it and choose the Catalog field it belongs to.
3. Click Import.

Rows that share a title become one product with several variants. A row whose SKU you already have updates that variant instead of creating a duplicate, so importing a corrected file is safe.

A column headed Manufacturer or Maker, Condition, or Year is matched to the field of the same name for you.

Export CSV on the Catalog screen writes your whole catalog back out, any time; Maker, Condition and Year are its last three columns. Importing that file again brings everything back, and an empty cell never clears something you already have.

Drop in TikTok's template

ZoraLister ships no marketplace templates of its own. It reads yours, so the rules are always the ones TikTok is enforcing today.

1. In TikTok Shop Seller Center, go to where you add products in bulk, pick your product category, and download the bulk upload template. It is an Excel file whose name starts with Tiktoksellercenter_.
2. In ZoraLister, open Templates & Profiles and drop the file on the box at the top, or use choose the file. Do not open and re-save it in Excel first; use it exactly as downloaded.
3. ZoraLister reads it, including the hidden sheets where TikTok keeps the real rules, and shows a summary: the template version, its units, how many categories are in the file, and the brands your account is approved for.

One template covers a whole top-level category: the Automotive & Motorcycle file, for instance, knows 567 categories. If you sell in two different top-level categories, download and drop in both. ZoraLister keeps its own copy exactly as downloaded, and your file is never changed.

Add your category

1. The template opens by itself after you drop it in. Later, click it in the list on Templates & Profiles to open it again.
2. Under Categories you list in, type part of your category in Find a category… (for example car sticker), choose it, and click Add category.
3. ZoraLister shows every field that category has: the column it lives in, whether it is Mandatory or Optional, its type, the exact values a dropdown accepts, length limits, and TikTok's own help text.

Fields your category forbids are hidden, because they must be left blank and ZoraLister does that for you. Check show fields this category forbids if you want to see them. Remove category archives it; adding it again brings it back.

Build the listing profile

A listing profile tells ZoraLister, once, where each of the category's fields gets its value. After that, every product you list in that category uses it.

1. With the category open, click New listing profile. ZoraLister starts it with sensible suggestions already filled in: title, description, price, quantity, SKU, images, options and package size.
2. Give it a Profile name.
3. Set the filter to Required fields (or Not decided yet) so you only see what still needs a decision.
4. For each field, choose where its value Comes from (see the table below) and fill in the details.
5. Watch the line at the top. When it reads every required field decided and this profile is ready to build listings, click Save.

Text patterns can use {title} {brand} {sku} {price} {option1_value}, and measurements with a unit after a bar: {length_mm|in}, {weight_g|lb}. Add |upper or |lower to change the case.

Selling in a second, similar category? Open a finished profile and use Copy to category. Every rule the new category accepts is carried over, and ZoraLister tells you which ones it could not take. Archive keeps a profile without deleting it. If you leave with unsaved changes, ZoraLister asks first.

Preview a product

1. In the profile, scroll to Preview with one of your products, type part of a product's name in Find a product… and choose it.
2. You get a table of exactly what would be sent: one column per variant, one row per field, with your photos shown as thumbnails and every converted number already converted.
3. Anything TikTok would reject is listed in red, in plain words, naming the field: a missing mandatory value, a dropdown value that is not on TikTok's list, a title over the length limit, a missing weight or photo, or variants that would collide.
4. Fix it where it lives: a missing weight in the product, a wrong answer in the profile. Then preview again.

A product with problems is held back; it will never reach an upload file until the list is empty. Once one product previews clean, the rest of that category is just adding products.

The preview is for one product while you are still setting the profile up. Once it looks right, do the whole catalog at once in the Queue.

Build drafts and approve them

A draft is one product turned into a listing for one marketplace and category. Nothing ever reaches a marketplace without passing through here.

1. Open Queue, pick your listing profile at the top, and click Build drafts. Every product in your catalog becomes a draft.
2. The drafts show as Review cards, one card each: its main photo and the next one, a strip of every photo that goes in order, the title, the price, how many are in stock, the category, the title's length against the most the category takes (for example 42/255 characters, amber near the limit and red over it), and the photos against how many the listing takes (3/9 photos). Each card has Look, Approve, Reject and Delete. Look opens every field, variant by variant, exactly as the earlier preview did. A product with several variants has View 3 colors (or choices) under its buttons: each one's own photo, SKU, price and stock, with Set main to make that photo the listing's main photo.
3. Prefer a table? Switch the box beside the status from Review cards to List: how many rows (one per variant), how many problems and its status. Click one to look at it.
4. Click Approve on the ones that look right. Reject asks Why reject it?: pick a reason (Photos are wrong, The title needs work, ...) and add In your own words (optional). The reason stays on its card. Rebuild, on a draft you opened, refreshes it from the product and profile as they stand now.
5. Many at once: tick the cards (or use Select… for the first 25, 50, 100 or All shown), then Approve selected, Reject selected or Delete selected. Search the cards by SKU or title; commas mean "or" (fox, MOOSE-1). In the List, Approve these 12 takes the whole screenful. Anything that cannot be approved is left alone and named.

Photo order from a card

Open Photo order and main photo on a card: Earlier and Later move a photo, and Make it the main photo puts it first. It changes the product's own photo order, as dragging them on the product does, and the draft is built again at once - so what you approve is always what was last built. A photo tied to one variant, a swatch or a size chart is not moved from here.

Rejected, then changed

A card you rejected says why: Rejected: Photos are wrong - too dark. Change the product and rebuild it, and it comes back first among the waiting ones, marked Changed since you rejected it and reading You rejected it: ... - changed since, look again.

Delete: the listing goes, the product stays

Delete throws a draft away when you will not list that product there - it asks first, and the product stays on the Catalog, untouched. Reject means "needs work" and keeps the draft with its reason; Delete means "not this listing". Only a draft waiting for approval, or one you rejected, can be deleted: an approved one is about to go out, an exported one is in a file, and one that went into an upload file before is kept so Exports can still say what that file held. Building that profile's drafts again makes it again - archive a product you are not selling anywhere.

Blockers

On Settings, Blockers keeps products off a marketplace - a brand that enforces its trademark, or after an IP complaint. Block a word (brand or make) or one product, by SKU, choose Where (Every marketplace or one), say Why, and click Add blocker. A blocked product's draft shows the reason and cannot be approved, and it is left out of that marketplace's upload file. A listing already live there, you end on the marketplace itself.

Building again later is safe: a draft whose fields have not changed keeps the decision you already made. Only one that really changed goes back to Pending, and ZoraLister tells you how many did.

Write the upload file

This is the end of the road inside ZoraLister: your approved drafts written into a copy of your own template, which you then upload in the marketplace's own screen.

1. Open Exports. The list at the top shows each listing profile and how many drafts you have approved for it.
2. Pick one and click Write upload file.
3. Click Download the file, then upload it in TikTok Shop's own bulk upload screen.

Everything is checked again at this point, not when you approved it. If any approved draft has gone out of date since, or a photo has no web address, nothing is written and ZoraLister says which product and why. A file you upload is hard to take back, so one bad row stops all of it.

Once written, those drafts are marked Exported. Edit the product later and it comes back to Pending, so it goes through the Queue again before it can be written a second time. Forget removes a file from your exports folder; the products stay Exported, because they were.

Listing on eBay

The same catalog lists on eBay. What changes is the template you drop in, a few settings only you can choose, and where you upload the file.

1. Download eBay's template

1. In eBay's Seller Hub, open Reports, then Uploads, then Download template.
2. Source: Listings. Type: Create or Schedule new listings. Not "Create new drafts" (that one has no item specifics), and not "Autofill listing details".
3. Pick your categories (the ones you really list in) and choose .xlsx or CSV. Download it.

2. Drop it in and add your category

On Templates & Profiles, drop the file in (or choose the file). Choose your category in the list and click Add category, then New listing profile. The profile starts with the obvious choices already made: title, description, price, quantity, SKU, brand, all your product photos, Buy It Now (FixedPrice) and listed until sold (GTC).

3. Decide what only you can decide

Switch the list above the fields from All fields you can fill to Required fields. For each one still Not decided, choose Fixed value under Comes from:

• Condition ID: pick from eBay's own list for that category, for example 1000-New. With the CSV template, type the number: 1000 for new, 3000 for used.
• Location: your city and state, for example Austin, TX.
• Shipping profile name, Return profile name, Payment profile name: pick yours from the list (they come from your own template). These are not under Required fields, because eBay needs them only if you use business policies: switch to All fields you can fill to find them. With the CSV template, type each name exactly as it is in Seller Hub; with policies, leave the shipping and returns columns blank.
• Item specifics such as Restaurant or Character Family are optional but eBay recommends them: pick a value from the list, or map one to a catalog field.

Click Save, then choose a product under the preview to see exactly what eBay would get.

4. One listing with a choice ("pick your toy")

For a series where the buyer picks one, make one product with one variant per toy. Give every variant the same option name, for example Details, and each its own value (2025 RM #1, 2025 Jin #2), with its own SKU, price and quantity. Use Copy on a variant row to make the next one.

• Photos of the whole series stay on all variants: they are the listing's photos (up to 12).
• A photo of one toy: under that photo, change all variants to that toy's SKU. eBay then shows that photo when the buyer picks that toy.
• A complete set sold as one item is an ordinary product with one variant.

The preview and the draft show it as one listing with a choice: an Option row names each toy, and Its own photo shows its photo. The title, description and item specifics must be the same for every toy; ZoraLister stops a draft that would send different ones and says which.

5. Approve, write the file, upload it

1. On Queue, choose the eBay profile, click Build drafts, look at each draft and click Approve.
2. On Exports, click Write upload file, then Download the file. It is your own eBay template with your listings written in (from row 5 of an .xlsx, straight under the column names of a CSV, where they take the place of the empty rows eBay leaves); every other part is exactly as you downloaded it.
3. In Seller Hub, open Reports, then Uploads, and upload the file as it is.

Your data, and backing it up

Everything lives in one folder on your PC: Documents\ZoraLister. It holds the database (zoralister.db), an images folder with your original photos and their resized copies, and a templates folder with the marketplace files exactly as you downloaded them. There is no account and nothing is uploaded to us. (That is ZoraLister for Windows, which is the product this guide covers. ZoraLister Online is a separate product that keeps your products on our server instead; the privacy page covers both.)

Download everything, on Settings: click Make my download, and when it says Your download is ready. Press Download., click Download. You get one zip file, yours to keep: every product and variant as a spreadsheet (CSV), every photo, video, template and upload file exactly as it is in your data folder, the whole database (a consistent copy, made while ZoraLister runs), and a README saying what each part is. It is made on your PC and nothing is sent anywhere. Your eBay connection and your license key are not in it. The newest one also stays in the data folder's takeout folder until you click Make a new one.

To back up, use Download everything, or close ZoraLister and copy that whole folder somewhere safe. To move to a new PC, install ZoraLister there, close it, and put the folder (or the contents of your download) into the same place. Uninstalling removes the program only and never touches this folder.
