Who you are dealing with

ZoraLister is published by Zora Software, a small independent software business in the United States. For anything on this page, write to support@zoralister.com. A person reads it.

What ZoraLister is

ZoraLister is a desktop program that keeps a product catalog on your own computer and builds marketplace bulk-upload files from it. You download a marketplace's own template, ZoraLister fills a copy of it from your catalog, and you upload that file in the marketplace's own screen.

It is a tool for preparing files. It is not a selling agent, not a marketplace account, and not a guarantee of anything that happens after you upload.

What it does not promise

Being straight about this is more useful than a wall of capitals, so here it is in ordinary sentences.

• We do not promise a marketplace will accept your file. Marketplaces revise their templates, their required fields and their category rules without telling anyone in advance. ZoraLister checks your products against the template you gave it; if the marketplace has moved on since you downloaded it, the check is only as current as your file.
• We do not promise your listings will go live, stay live, or sell. That is between you and the marketplace.
• You are responsible for what your listings say. Titles, descriptions, prices, safety and compliance answers, and whether you are allowed to sell a thing at all — all yours. ZoraLister will happily write down something untrue if you type it in.
• You are responsible for following each marketplace's own rules, including their trademark and intellectual property policies. Using our software does not put you outside theirs.
• The software is provided as it is. We work hard on it and we test it, but we cannot warrant it is free of faults, and we are not liable for lost sales, lost time or lost data. Keep backups of anything you would hate to lose.

Photo delivery — what you may send

Marketplaces will not accept a photo file in a bulk upload. Every image column wants a web address they can fetch, so a photo sitting on your PC cannot go into the file at all. ZoraLister gives you two ways to solve that, and you can mix them:

• Your own links. If your photos already live on your shop or your own site, put that address on each photo. Nothing is sent anywhere, and nothing below applies to you.
• Image push. ZoraLister sends a copy of the photo to its delivery service, writes that temporary address into your file, and the copy is deleted automatically — seven days by default, and you can take it down sooner from the Exports screen. Marketplaces keep their own copy once they have fetched it, so the address is never shown to shoppers.

We hold those copies for those few days. We say so here rather than letting you assume otherwise, because everywhere else we tell you your data stays on your PC — and for those few days, for those photos, it is not strictly true.

When you use image push, you agree that:

• you send product photos only — pictures of the things you are listing;
• you have the right to publish every image you send, and sending it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• you do not send anything unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful, or depicting a real person who has not agreed to it;
• you do not use it as file storage or a content host. It exists so a marketplace can collect a photo during an upload, nothing else;
• you accept it is temporary. Copies expire on their own, and an expired address stops working. Never make it the only copy of anything.

We may remove anything from the delivery service, and withdraw access to it, if we believe it breaks these terms — including on a complaint from someone whose rights are affected. We would rather tell you first, and will where we can, but we may act before asking if something looks serious.

Compliance documents and certificates are not accepted at the moment; the service refuses anything that is not a product photo. Some marketplace categories require them, and for those, use your own links.

Reporting something

If an image being served from img.zoralister.com infringes your rights, or should not be there for any other reason, write to abuse@zoralister.com and we will look at it.

It helps enormously if you include the full address of the image, what the problem is, and how to reach you. If it is a copyright claim, please say what the original work is and confirm you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

These are short-lived copies, so an image reported today may well have expired before anyone reads the email — that is the design working, not a brush-off. We will still check, and still act on the account behind it if there is a pattern.

The private beta

• It is free, and there is no obligation either way.
• It is unfinished. Things will be missing, and some will be wrong. Telling us is the whole point.
• It will change. Features may appear, change shape or be removed, and these terms may change with them.
• Keep your own backups. Your catalog lives in a folder on your PC; copy it somewhere safe like anything else you would not want to lose.
• A beta licence key is yours alone. Do not share it — it is what lets a copy of ZoraLister send photos for delivery, and it is tied to you.

Paying for it, later

ZoraLister will be a one-time purchase, not a subscription. When that starts, this page will say exactly what the purchase includes, what renewing does and does not do, and how refunds work. Nothing is being charged during the beta.

Marketplace names

TikTok, Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Etsy are trademarks of their respective owners. ZoraLister is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Their names appear here to say which of their file formats the software can work with — nothing more.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
